Insulating flame-retardant black polycarbonate (PC) film features excellent flame retardancy, heat resistance, high voltage resistance, low water absorption, fold resistance, tear resistance, and is not prone to cracking. It can be used in battery modules, cells, and packs of new energy vehicles.
CCS applications: CCS thermoforming brackets and CCS die-cut brackets.
There are mainly two solutions for PC films used in CCS:
Solution 1: PC films are thermoformed into CCS thermoforming brackets and then integrated into a whole with signal acquisition components and aluminum bars through a hot riveting process.
Solution 2: PC films are die-cut into shape and directly laminated with adhesive to form CCS brackets. Aluminum bars are integrated by adhering to the PC die-cut brackets.
Cell applications: Positive and negative electrode top patches for cells
PC films are processed through die-cutting with adhesive to achieve the desired effect for each battery model, and then attached to the top and bottom of the cell aluminum shell by battery manufacturers.
Pack applications: Battery pack cover plates
PC films are mainly used for insulation between cells and between cells and aluminum shells inside the pack.
