PVC is cheap, so it is often used as the material for making cards. However, with the increasing awareness of environmental protection and safety, PVC-made cards can no longer meet people's needs. Recyclable and reusable polycarbonate (PC) is gradually replacing PVC and becoming the main material for making cards.

Safety is first established on the basis of good product quality. The ID card market requires the excellent performance of polycarbonate to provide the public with safe and difficult-to-replicate personal information. In addition, PC material has good temperature resistance and hardness. It is no longer suitable to thermally print the holographic anti-counterfeiting layer on the surface of PC cards to enhance the holographic anti-counterfeiting effect. Currently, the holographic anti-counterfeiting layer is usually laminated inside the PC card to ensure the anti-counterfeiting strength and aesthetics. However, the common method of setting the holographic anti-counterfeiting layer is to thermally print it on the PC card film. But this method can only thermally print large-area holographic anti-counterfeiting layers and cannot thermally print small-area holographic anti-counterfeiting layers such as fine lines. This limits the application of holographic anti-counterfeiting layers on PC cards.How to solve this problem?
