How to laminate the PC card ?

To control the time and termperature are very important when laminating the PC cards. Otherwise the laminating effective will mot be good during production. See the following ofrequired time and temperature.You can adjust the hot pressing temperature according to the different machines.

Preheat: 1500 seconds
Hot pressing: temperature 170~195 ℃
Segment 1: 0.5 Mpa 200 seconds
Segment 2: 1 Mpa 60 seconds
Segment 3: 2.5 Mpa 60 seconds
Segment 4: 4.0 Mpa 60 seconds
Segment 5: 5.5 Mpa 500 seconds
Cold pressure: 8 Mpa 1800 seconds

PC Overlay Film is widely used as the surface protection layer for ID cards due to its high light transmittance, scratch and wear resistance, as well as weather resistance.

While other PC card base films are included PC core,PC laserable overlay film with different thickness. PC core sheet is the middle support layer of the card,while PC laserable overlay film is for engraving layer.
