Mechanical properties

Impact resistance: The impact resistance of PC is 5 to 10 times that of PET, making it suitable for environments prone to external force impacts (such as the buttons of construction machinery).

Flexibility: The unmodified PC film is relatively hard (with a bending modulus of approximately 2.4 GPa), and its flexibility needs to be enhanced through blending modification (such as adding TPU), which can increase the bending resistance (the cycle compression life can reach over 1 million times).

Thermal stability

The long-term operating temperature range is from -40°C to +120°C, and it can withstand up to 135°C for a short period. It is suitable for high-temperature environments (such as control components around the engine compartment of automobiles).

Adaptability of processing and printing

Supporting screen printing (with the precision of conductive silver paste lines reaching 0.1mm) and IMD (In-Mold Decoration) technology, it can fabricate complex 3D structures.

The surface energy is approximately 40 - 42 dynes/cm. Corona treatment is required to enhance the adhesion of the ink (reaching ISO Class 4B standard).
