Printed grade frosted PC Film (Polycarbonate Film) is often used in membrane switches and control panels of home appliances due to its excellent physical and chemical properties. This type of application requires very high material requirements, including wear resistance, chemical resistance, moderate transparency, and good printing performance.The surface of PC is velvet, another side is matte, or velvet/gloss. The thickness can be 0.125~0.76mm.

Q1: How to ensure the adhesion between the sandblasted surface and the printed pattern?
A: The surface wetting property should be enhanced through corona treatment (surface dielectric constant ≥ 48 mN/m). It is recommended to use UV-curable ink. After printing, the peel strength should be greater than 2.8 N/cm (ASTM D3359).
Q2: How does the frosted texture affect the printing resolution?
A: By using laser etching technology (Ra 3.0-5.0μm), fine printing with a minimum line width of 0.15mm can be achieved (in accordance with ISO 12647-2 standard), ensuring the clarity of the graphics.
Q3: Will the abrasive layer wear off and fall off after long-term use?
A: After being treated with reinforced cross-linking, it has passed the Taber abrasion resistance test (CS-10 wheel, 1kg load, 1000 cycles, haze change < 5%, ASTM D1044).
